 BBEMA Past Events:

   Island Biodiversity Day

 
County Fair Mall, Summerside on May 22, 2010 (central court area from 10am - 4 pm)
 
Come learn about the diversity of our aquatic life here on PEI.
 
View our display tanks featuring aquatic insects,  plus native fish and frog species.
 
Families can spend the day engaged in the world of terrestrial and aquatic insects - understanding their important role in supplying food sources for people and wildlife
 
Children's Activities include: 
children's tattoos
coloring contests (ages 4-6 and 7-10)
aquatic insect ID challenge for kids ages 11-15
a bug popularity contest and butterfly exhibit 
 
And best of all…PRIZES!!!
